    I have a site on github and I was trying to set up a custom domain name for it. I had wordpress redirect the website to the github page. I mistakenly thought I could setup a custom domain name solely with github, however I learned I need a DNS provider like wordpress to do the custom domain. I had deleted the website and the redirect. I am now trying to get back the domain name again, but when I go to try and buy the domain again, it says “This domain is already mapped to a WordPress.com site.” How can I restore the domain name so I can add a custom name for the site?
