No. WordPress has no control over what people post, and given that this is a multi-user platform where we all share the same underlying theme and wordpress core files, any bad code introduced by someone, intentionally or not, could bring down the entire system.

Same problem here… I take part in a blog competition, and I could put a widget on my blog which makes easier to my followers to vote for my blog. The organizers gave us two kind of widgets (http://goldenblog.hu/widget.aspx) one iframe and one java, but WordPress does not allow either of them. :(
This put’s me at a disadvantage… :(
