Threats against a person

  Hi,

  Recently, in the middle of a discussion, someone spoke of their desire to do me harm. I believe it was merely posturing from an idiot, but I’d like to know what grounds I’d have to pursue this, as either action against their WordPress account or criminal proceedings?
