Thumbnail in Portrait cuts off the head of the person

    Hi, I have one post and that thumbnail image is in portrait. When I view it on mobile the head of the person in the image is cut off. I have tried to adjust the settings for quite some time but to no avail.

    The post is ‘Mindanao Auto Show 2019 – Zipper Production (VIDEO)’ is the one I’m pertaining about.

    Hi there!

    I’m afraid there isn’t much we can do about it since responsive themes will resize/crop the featured image automatically to adapt to the size of the screen it’s being viewed in. For this reason, featured images usually work best when they’re abstract — as in when it’s fine if the image is automatically cropped out anywhere.

    You can try using the image in landscape orientation to see if that makes a difference, but the auto-cropping is done by the theme and it’s not something we can change.

    Thank you. Just the right advice.

    Just as I suspected. I thought I lack knowledge of a feature or something. I will replace the image in landscape. It won’t show the car, but at least it won’t cut the head of the girl.
