  how come my post doesn’t show the time of post?
  how do I activate it?

  Some themes display timestamps and some do not. If you must have one that does then you will need to change themes. Here’s a list of themes that do or don’t display timestamps on posts.

  And note the workaround at the end of the post timethief linked to: allows you to display a time stamp on more themes.
