Time to release domain

  I had taken a paid membership along with the domain but cancelled it due to some features not available. But now the domain is showing not available. How long does it take for the domain to be released?

  Hi there,

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future.

  In this case, as you cancelled the domain within 24 hours of registering it, it should become available again by the end of the week so you can register it somewhere else again.
