title page editing
-
I cannot edit the title page of my new blog cleartexts.wordpress.com. When I preview it, there is a lot of unwanted text there. When I search for a way to edit it, I cannot find any way. This is highly inconvenient, because it is a business page, and it contains unwanted text.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
What do you mean by “edit the title page?” Which page is your title page, and how do you want to edit it?
This is highly inconvenient, because it is a business page, and it contains unwanted text.
Are you referring to the site https://jjmathias.wordpress.com/? If so, the homepage contains the site title, a message generated because no posts are published, a slide-out sidebar area contain a link to the “About” page and several widgets, and footer credits (theme, and WordPress.com) which can not be removed without violating the Terms of Service.
If you are referring to another website, then please provide the URL.

Thank you for the clarifying feedback! I now understand why the FrontPage had unwanted text (namely, that I had not added any posts yet). I changed the theme and added a post, and problem is now fixed. Thank you again!
