To Make The Poll Visible to me and visitors to my blog
-
I have a blog on wordpress and I have created my own poll for the blog. I can’t get the poll; to show up on the main blog page with the posts and comments and everything so the visitors can take the poll. They gave me some code to enter somewhere but I don’t know where to put it or use it to make the poll show up so people can take that poll. What do I do from there? How do I get the poll to be taken and show up?
It is at wordpress.com. When I created the poll from my wordpress.com dashboard they gave me some html code to use for the poll. I have used html codes and such before but it isn’t what I am used to in wordpress with regards to where to insert it. I want the poll to show up on the same page that the posts are at, recent and older posts. My blog is here: http://g2earth.wordpress.com and I want the poll to show up on that page and pages with olders posts all the time. I want visitors to see the poll or polls and can take those polls.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Polls > Edit: click “HTML code”, copy shortcode.
Then Appearance > Widgets: activate a Text widget, paste shortcode, Save.
(You can drag the Text widget to a position above other widgets, if you wish.) -

But we are redirected to a pool site in order to vote! can’t we just vote on the blog itself?

@krvn: Please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your nickname to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). We can’t help without that.
