to transfer a domain name or not

  i have a website on weebly and just want to poke around to see if i like wordpress better for my new website. if i transfer the domain name i just purchased, can i get it back from word press if i don’t like your service?

  Hi there!

  Yes, you would be able to transfer the domain away after 60 days (unless you opt-out from the transfer lock), but there is no need to transfer the domain right away.
  You can work on your site using the free .wordpress.com subdomain and only map or transfer your custom domain once you’re ready.
