too many reloads

When I dropped the .wordpress out of my domain, my site stopped showing up at all. I get an error message that there are ‘too many redirect.’
Can you please answer my question, I asked last week and I don’t want to take my blog elsewhere.

Hi there,
Right now, your domain stgeorgebabysitter.com is set up to redirect visitors to your WordPress.com address stgeorgebabysitter.wordpress.com. However, your WordPress.com address is set up to redirect visitors to your domain, so it creates a redirect loop (where visitors get constantly redirected to the other address in a loop).
You can fix that by pointing your domain to the WordPress.com name servers (instead of setting up a redirect) according to our guide to Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping). To do that, you will need to go to your domain registrar (where you registered your domain name) and update the domain’s name servers to these:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
Once that is done, your domain will point correctly to your WordPress.com site without any redirect problems. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
