Tools update (Google Webmaster code) is not replacing original/existing with new

    I am attempting to update by site, blogforaffiliates.com with my Google Webmasters code. I generated the code at Google and pasted it into the required section under Tools in WordPress for my account. This worked fine for the Bing update but is failing for Google… I successfully did the action for my businessanalystblog.com for Google and Bing. However, Google is reporting that there is a different meta tag existing on my blogforaffiliates.com blog – which I would think your update process erases/deletes any existing and replaces it with the latest.
