Tracking down why I can't access my sites
-
HELP HELP HELP!!!!!
I have two blogs with WordPress –
https://travelingalchemist.wordpress.com
https://swannesong.wordpress.com1)I haven’t been able to get into these sites to post, but they do show up in Google searches. When I pull up the site and click in the upper left corner “go to site” I get the message that I don’t have any WordPress sites yet.
2) In the beginning when I tried to log into WordPress I was getting the message DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN.
I tried ALL the fixes at
and nothing worked. I did change to Google DNS and I think that’s why my websites showed up in the Google index..3) I own these domains through GoDaddy. I called them and they said they could not tell me the DNS settings. When I set up WordPress I used mapping and the settings were pointed to WordPress.
4) I recently closed a blog – TheRealEstatePage.biz. Could that have affected this?
5) In a previous inquiry about travelingalchemist site being hacked, I followed the directions in the response – Your site https://travelingalchemist.wordpress.com/ is up and running but it is connected to another account of yours travelingalchemist.
Log out from current travelingalchemist170218 and log in again as travelingalchemist. When I tried that I got the message that travelingalchemist was already taken. Also, in following one of the tutorials from that wpbeginner site I learned that I don’t have a “host” file.
Is there anything here you can help me with?

Those sites belong to a different WordPress.com account here, not the one you’re currently logged in under.
If you don’t recall the password for the correct account, we have some options for you at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
