  When I switched from my wordpress domain to my own domain the site stats don’t show where hits are coming from. I used to be able to see how many hits came from where but now it just shows all of them in one place- my new domain.

  You’re currently just forwarding the domain from your registrar.

  In order to prevent that, you’ll need to actually map your domain: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
