Tradedouble for selling books I have written myself
-
I am a Danish writer, blogging about my books and life and everything, maybe hoping to sell a book or two along the way.
I show my new book on the blog and some time ago, being a Tradedoubler affiliate partner, I tried to used a Tradedoubler link to a Danish Bookstore called SAXO. Of course it got scrambled and I removed the affiliate link.
However, I just read that it would be okay to use affiliate links to for example Amazon.com – if you were selling your own work – and of course I figured that I also might be able to use the affiliate link for SAXO via Tradedoubler?
But I want to know how I do this, as it didn’t work just placing the affiliate links some months ago. Can I get the linke approved somewhere or what do I do?

Hello there,
I have flagged this thread for a response form Staff. Please be patient while waiting. -
You can use Amazon affiliate links if you’re selling your own work or only using them infrequently, but we can’t allow any other affiliate links.

oops! I apologize for not reading more carefully.

Just trying to understand …
Why is it okay to sell my own books via Amazon affiliate links, but not via Saxo affiliate links?
Isn’t a bookstore a bookstore?
-
Another question: If I use Amazon Affiliate Links instead, do I need to get them approved or will Amazon Affiliate Links just work – not getting scrambled or what ever?

Our terms of service do not allow advertising or affiliate links, but we have made a special exception for sparse usage of Amazon affiliate links.
No other affiliate links will be allowed.
If you use Amazon affiliate links, just post them as normal links, and they will not be altered.
