Transerferring a registered blog address to another user

  Hello,
  I am about to begin another .wordpress.com blog, although, as expected my first choice address was taken. I contacted the retainer of delegeferenda.wordpress.com, the address I was hoping to register, who never took to blogging at that address in earnest, if s/he would be willing to yield it me so that I could blog at that address. The communication is quoted below:

  Now that I have his/her permission to use the address how do we go about transferring it? Is such a thing possible. I assume that the substance of one account cannot be absorbed by another, so is there a way for him/her to un-register that address, allowing me to register it for my account in the normal fashion? Can such a thing be handled on your end with necessary confirmation from him/her and myself? Please let me know if there is any solution to this problem.

  You’ll need to ask the current owner to transfer the blog to your account. They can do so by following this guide:
