Transfer a domain name from Yahoo! Small Business Solutions

Has anyone transferred a domain from Yahoo small business to WordPress? It seems domains purchased through yahoo are actually registered with the company Melbourne IT. Do I need to contact Melboure IT? I have the authorization code from Yahoo. Thanks.

You can’t transfer a domain name to WordPress.COM – they are not set up to take incoming domain name transfers – you need to keep your name registered not at WordPress.COM – you can map your domain name to your blog here – see below – be sure to read the Terms of Service first
