Transfer a website between accounts and domain names

  I want to transfer a website in ‘X.wordpress.com’ belonging to account X to ‘Y.wordpress.com’ belonging to account Y. I own both accounts but I want Y to be my main account.

  At the moment ‘X.wordpress.com’ currently hosts a well built website. Whereas ‘Y.wordpress.com’ hosts a dummy website.

  Hi,

  You may transfer a website in one WordPress.com account to another WordPress.com account. See the Transferring a Site to Another WordPress.com Account support page for instructions.

  For instructions on changing the website address, see the Change a Blog Address support page. However, the address can’t be changed to an existent address.

  See also the Recycling Blog Addresses support page, in case you think of trying to make the address Y.wordpress.com available by deleting it.
