Transfer administrator role and reduce mine to Author

  I started this blog. I now wish to reduce my role to author and allow one of the users to carry on in the Admin role. I have already given this user admin role but cannot change my own.

  The best way to go is to transfer ownership of the site to the new user:

  You cannot be removed as an admin if you are still the site’s owner.
