Transfer domain

  Hi,

  I am using a service that isn’t listed called ecowebhosting.co.uk and I would like to transfer my domain. I can’t find the lock information and I have asked my provider as well but since I’m leaving their service I don’t imagine them being helpful. Can you please advise?

  Hi there,

  I’m afraid it’s not possible to transfer .co.uk domains to us at this time, so the only way to use that domain with your WordPress.com site is via our domain mapping option:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/#which-tlds-extensions-can-i-transfer-to-wordpress-com

  That said, the only place you can unlock your domain is at your current provider, so they’re the only place where you can get help with that step of a domain transfer.
