Transfer domain

  According to the help site, to transfer the domain of our website I need to log into Word Press with the account used to purchase the domain. The person that had this information is no longer with our organization. How can I transfer the domain?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Is it possible to retrieve the login information from the former employee? For that will be the best bet in regaining access to this account. For more information, please visit:

  If you were responsible for paying for the domain and can provide the transaction ID from your bank statement, I would fill out the account recovery form from the above link and provide that information. The account recovery team may be able to assist you with at least retrieving the domain.

  Thanks for your response.

  I’ve tried to ask the former employee but have received no response. I don’t have the original email address or password to log into the account and I joined the organization later so I also don’t have access to any of the “proof of ownership” documents required to recover the account.

  We will need proof of ownership in order to proceed with account recovery. Hopefully the former employee will respond.

  Does it matter if this is a mapped domain vs. the domain included with the site? I’m trying to move the mapped domain.
