Transfer domain

  I have a paid domain through wordpress and I want to transfer it some place else. I tried following the steps in the help articles, but I’m not seeing the “Domain Administration” section entirely.

  Help?

  The WordPress.com account that you are posting from does not have any upgrades or domains associated with it. So that is why you are not seeing “Domain Administration”.

  Also, ewa.org/blog-latino-ed-beat does not appear to be a WordPress.com site. Could you be looking for assistance with a different blog?

  I’m sorry, I’ll clarify. (That “the blog I need help with” got automatically added, BTW.)

  The blog is latinoedbeat.wordpress.com and it has a domain latinoedbeat.org registered with it. As a workaround for being unable to transfer the domain, we’ve purchased a Site Redirect for ewa.org/blog-latino-ed-beat which is now the Primary.

  Understood.

  However, the issue remains the same even when looking at latinoedbeat.wordpress.com. The WordPress.com account that you are posting from does not own any upgrades. The latinoedbeat.org domain is registered to another WordPress.com account.

  Could you, or your organization, have used a different account previously?

  Well, I have administrator access to this blog. Do I need to be logged in as the account that originally registered the domain?
