Transfer domain from shopify

  I’ve recently purchased a domain on shopify.com on June 11, 2019.
  I would like to move my domain to wordpress immediately as i have found a theme that i have really liked.
  as it is a new domain, i cannot move my provider before 60 days,
  however, i would like to know more about the domain mapping service.
  after i have purchased a plan & the domain mapping & change the DNS settings, will it redirect to my original domain purchased on shopify?

  Exactly. When you point the nameservers of your domain over to your WordPress.com site and purchase the Business Plan for your eCommerce site so that you can map your domain as well (you’re wanting to use WooCommerce, correct?), whenever someone visits your domain, it will take them to the site hosted at WordPress.com, not Shopify.

  If you are not setting up a store with WordPress.com, you won’t necessarily need the Business Plan depending on what you are doing, but everything else applies.
