Transfer Domain From WordPress to Shopify

    I have recently started a shopify store and what my shopify store’s domain name to be http://www.bahyarns.com and for the blog to be imported into the shopify store. So far, the blog looks great on shopify, but I can’t seem to transfer the domain name over there.

    In the past, i didn’t have any trouble following these instructions –> http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-management/ but for this blog, the option to select domain administration and domain login is not available to me so I don’t have the ability to enter the dns settings. What to do?

    Hi there, since your domain bahyarns.com isn’t registered through us, you’ll need to log into your domain registrar’s control panel to point the DNS to Shopify. Your domain looks like it’s registered through MELBOURNE IT, LTD. D/B/A INTERNET NAMES WORLDWIDE.

    Once you do that, just a heads-up your domain mapping on WordPress.com will stop working, since bahyarns.com can’t point to both your WordPress.com site and your Shopify site at the same time. :-)
