Transfer from godaddy hosting

  I currently have a blog (sailingmoonshadow.co.uk) built with WordPress hosted with GoDaddy. My hosting contract is coming to an end and I’d like to transfer over to WordPress hosting. The blog is a hobby blog currently so I don’t really need a plan just yet. However I do plan to monetize it later so next year I’ll be looking to upgrade to a featured plan.

  Just now I need to get it over to WP but using the importer doesn’t seem to work…

  Any assistance would be gratefully received.

  Can you talk a bit more about this? What happens when you try? Are you following the instructions here:
