Transfer of a website

  Someone created a website in wordpress for me. I havent decided on a domain yet, but is it possible for that person to transfer the website he built to my ‘site’ so I can play with it until I have decided what to do regarding a domain?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  If the site is built on WordPress.com, it’s possible to transfer sites across accounts as per these instructions here:
