  I had an old personal account where I had registered a domain gloriouscontent.co.uk. I’m trying to move the blog to a new WP.com account. I’ve unregistered the domain from the old account, however, when I go an try to register the domain on this account, I get the error message:

  ‘This domain was recently in use by someone else and is not available to map yet. Please try again later or contact support.’

  Is anyone able to help?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Was the domain registered, or was it mapped?

  Domain Mapping is the upgrade you would purchase if you wanted to use a domain registered elsewhere (GoDaddy or 1and1 for example) with your WordPress.com site.

  It was mapped – I had it mapped on the old account, and I am trying to map it on the new account.

  I have added the domain mapping upgrade for gloriouscontent.co.uk to your WordPress.com site. It currently will expire in one week. Please renew before that date in order for Domain Mapping to continue working.
