Transfer of domain

  I cancelled my account with wordpress, and now need an AuthCode from WordPress, because i want to use the domain http://www.EngSquared.com with the hosting website Theme Forest…

  Your account shows you recently called engsquared.com. Cancelling a domain means giving up ownership, which is why there is no option to transfer it. engsquared.com needs to remain active on your account for the duration of the transfer process in order for it to be successful.

  The good news is I can restore engsquared.com back to engsquareddotcom.wordpress.com for you. However, the domain cost has already been refunded so I would need to send a payment request for that amount first.

  If you are happy to proceed, just reply to this email and we can work through the next steps.

  Hola, tengo una consulta respecto a un caso similar. Compré un dominio dentro de wordpress.com pero luego me arrepentí y lo armé en wordpress.org, para este sitio usé un dominio .com.ar distinto al primero que compré, pero quiero usar el dominio .com que compré originalmente y no se no se cómo hacerlo. Me podrían ayudar?

  Hi Gemmacevans,

  The money for the domain was not refunded. For this reason can the domain name be freed so that I can use it with another hosting website…

  Hi Joe,

  It looks like were two refunds on your account. One of your upgrades was partially refunded so I’ve restored engsquared.com back to engsquareddotcom.wordpress.com. You can now start the transfer process by following these steps:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/

  The transfer code you receive must be given to Strato in order initiate the transfer.
