Transfer of domain

    I initially wanted word press to host my domain, but it kept wordpress.com in the name and I didn’t want that, so I went with another provider. Which host do you feel is easiest to use for someone who is computer illiterate? If I transfer, will it still say wordpress.com in the domain name?

    Hi there,

    It is not possible to transfer your free http://nesiecampbell.wordpress.com/ site somewhere else. If you want to move to another host you’ll have to create a new site there from scratch by installing the open source WordPress software on that hosting provider’s servers.

    We recommend Bluehost as a good hosting provider, but using the self-hosted version of WordPress is going to be more complicated than WordPress.com no matter where you host it.
