Transfer or Map

  Hello Team,
  I’m already registered with Godaddy, and wanted to see which option to go with
  (Transfer completely or map the Domain).
  also wanted to know if I decide to map the domain and later I wanted to change it transfer it completely, would that be an option also?

  It’s more a personal preference type of thing, really.

  Domain Connection allows you to keep the domain registered with your current domain registrar and direct it to your WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  A transfer would allow to manage both your site and domain from the same place: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/

  So, basically, are you an “all of your eggs in one basket” type of person, or “not all of your eggs in one basket”? :)
