  I am just getting started in creating a new website. I do not want to transfer or map my old website with another company until I see what I can do wordpress. Please advise how to proceed.

  Hi there,

  When you create a site with us we give you a free URL that’s yours to use for as long as your site exists. So you can skip the domain step and just create your site with that free address, and connect your domain later on should you decide to make the move.
