  I’d like to transfer my domain name out how do i do it.

  Where did you purchase it?

  If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers.

  You can transfer your domain to another registrar only after the 60 day waiting period that ICANN requires. If you are before that 60-day limit, you can still use your WordPress.com domain manager to update your DNS pointers.

  If you have passed this 60-day time limit, you can find instructions on how to transfer your domain to another registrar by searching the Support site, which is linked at the top of every forum page.
