Transfer theme

  I am now self hosting my blog using blue host so now I am taking my blog from example.wordpress.com to example.com. I have successfully imported all of my posts and images and files; however, the theme that I paid $79 for will not import over. I do not know if I am doing something wrong while exporting/importing or if I have to pay the $79 for this theme. I just paid the $79 the other day and really am hoping I can transfer the theme over to the other site.

  Hi Gabriella,

  Premium themes are not able to be transferred or downloaded from WordPress.com to be used on a self-hosted blog. However, you can try asking the theme author if they would be willing to provide a discount coupon or the theme files for you to download and use on your self-hosted WordPress.org site.
