Transfer theme and created website to another account.

    I have created a website/blog tedstoves.wordpress.com but I should have done it through our existing company account http://www.linkpayroll.com/wordpress/wp-login.php. Can I transfer what I have done to our company account, or somehow merge the 2. All of our domains are running through the company account. Please help!

    Hi there,

    The site you mentioned at http://www.linkpayroll.com/ is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, where you site at tedstoves.wordpress.com is hosted here at WordPress.com. Because they are hosted in different places, there isn’t a way to just merge them into a single site.

    However, one option is to map a subdomain like blog.linkpayroll.com to your blog here at WordPress.com. That way, the address is linked to your main site at linkpayroll.com. We have a guide for doing that here: Map a Subdomain

    Another option is to export the content from your WordPress.com blog and import it into the other site. We have more about that here: Moving a Blog

    However, please note that premium themes like the Axon theme you’re using can’t be transferred from WordPress.com to another host. You’d need to purchase the WordPress.org version of the theme to use there.
