Transfer Upgrades

  I started a site on WordPress, and wanted to take advantage of plugins, so changed the host to Bluehost. However, I want to keep the themes “Nexus” and “Profile” and all of the other upgrades, like paying for a Premium account, that I purchased while hosting through WordPress.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  The upgrades you purchased at WordPress.com are only for sites hosted here at WordPress.com. They don’t apply to self-hosted sites using the free WordPress software from WordPress.org.

  Premium themes are also not able to be transferred or downloaded from WordPress.com. However, you can try asking the theme author if they would be willing to provide a discount coupon or the theme files for you to download and use on your self-hosted WordPress.org site.
