transfer vs import vs redirect

    I have a blog (mystyleworkshop.wordpress.com) that I want to move all of the content to my other wordpress blog (on3designs.com). I am confused about what option transfers the content of the old blog to the new blog AND re-directs traffic from my old site to the new. I have read about transfering, importing and redirecting but am not certain which one does exactly what I need. Thank you!
