I wish to transfer my hosting from Network Solutions to wordpress.com. My main issue is that I cannot get Network Solutions to upgrade to the latest version of PHP, and some of my plugins are no longer working. However, I am concerned that I may lose my email address (email visible only to moderators and staff). Worse yet, I have already paid for a two-year subscription and have services such as Imagify paid for a year ahead. Should I take the loss and move my site? Your thoughts/advice?

You can move both your site and your domain here on WordPress.com by using our automated migration tool that’ll move all your site’s content, plugins, and custom themes. For more information on that process, you can read this guide:

As for your email, we offer email hosting and you’ll be able to use the same email address if you transfer the domain here. If you want to transfer your existing email messages, we support importing from various services, but we cannot guarantee that it’ll work as we don’t know if the export format that your current host uses is compatible with ours.
