Transfer website with domain name change?

    Hello,
    Just a quick question.
    I would like to make use of your guided transfer service, however at the same time I would like to change my domain name.
    Is this possible and could your Happiness Engineers do this for me?

    Hi David,

    If the new domain name you want to use is either registered here at WordPress.com or registered with the same company that’s going to host your new site, our transfer team can certainly update the domain name for you as part of the transfer process. (If you registered that new domain name with a different registrar, you can also provide our transfer team with the login details for your registrar and they’ll update the domain name that way.)

    Once you purchase the guided transfer, you’ll have a chance to tell our transfer team what new domain you’d like to use. Please let me know if you have any other questions about that. :)
