transfering site

  hello im trying to transfer my wordpress site. dreamandrepeatdotcom.wordpress.com to dreamandrepeatstudios.wordpress.com but it keeps telling me it cant transfer i have both domains any help would be awesome thanks

  Hi,

  Transfer of sites on WordPress.com refers to transferring a site from one account to another. See the Transferring a Site to Another WordPress.com Account support page. It is inapplicable in the case you’ve described. Changing the URL of a WordPress.com site to that of another existent site is not possible. WordPress.com does not allow the transferring of URLs from site to site. It’s possible to acquire a previously used and deleted URL, but only after two years have passed since the site/URL was deleted. See the Recycling Blog Addresses (URLs) support page.

  You may use Export and Import to move the content of one site to another site.
