Transfering to HostGator, need help!

    Hi,

I’ve emailed customer support on this matter at WordPress and never heard back. Rather frustrated by that! I’m moving my domain to HostGator so I have more control over my blog design. I’m a little ignorant on where to find some of this information HostGator has requested in order to transfer my domain from here to there. Can anyone help? I don’t know how to find the IP Address/hostname or the FTP username/password. I understand what my URL and control panel username/password are, but I’m truly baffled on how to find the location of the IP and FTP info. Here is what HostGator is requesting:

    Old Hosting Information
    IP Address / Hostname: *
Domain Name of Previous Hosting Account: *
    The FTP username: *
    The FTP password: *
Old Host Control Panel URL: *
Old Host Control Panel Username: *
Old Host Control Panel Password: *
Which host are you transferring from?

    Can anyone help?

The blog linked to your name is empty.

Are you moving your blog or just the Domain Name or both? You can keep the domain registered here and just point the name-servers to HostGator.

Links to the name and the blog would make it easier for you to get help.

I assumed I was moving both.

The blog linked to your username is empty: there are no contents to move.

Here are the instructions to move the domain
