Transferred domain but still connected to WordPress

  Hi,

  I’m looking for some help please?

  I’ve transferred domain ownership from WordPress to Go Daddy but it’s still connected to wordpress even though it’s not in the Domain Manager? I did this two weeks ago.

  My blog is http://www.frankiesweekend.com

  It directs to the correct site when you include the www, but when this is taken out, frankiesweekend.com directs to frankiesweekend.wordpress.com.

  Please can you advise?

  Hi Katie,

  Your domain frankiesweekend.com still has its name servers pointing to WordPress.com, with these values:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  If you want the domain to point somewhere else, you will need to change the name servers to point to your new host. If you have any questions about how to do this, you’ll need to contact your new registrar, GoDaddy, for assistance.
