Transferred domain still using old pictures

Greetings!
I’ve recently transferred a domain from WordPress to Squarespace. When sharing the url (which did NOT change), it shows only images from the OLD site. I did NOT transfer the old website, I started from scratch. The domain and address: http://www.buffalogoddess.com.If you attempt to share that to Facebook, it comes up with the OLD pictures (no options for the new site), but does correctly redirect to the new site.
What did I do wrong? I’d really love it if my new site showed in the thumbnails.
I’ve also checked everything in the Squarespace back office. Seems all connected correctly…Help…

Hi there,
Facebook doesn’t know that the domain is not pointing to us any more. When you share a link there, Facebook stores some information from your site, and uses that same info the next time you share a link, instead of going back to your site to fetch the information again. So Facebook is still showing info from your WordPress.com site, because they haven’t actually checked if anything on your site has changed since.
To fix this, you need to clear Facebook’s cache for your site’s URL. They have a tool for this:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object
Paste your link into that site and click Fetch new scrape information to force Facebook to check your site for new info. You’ll be able to see what the preview for your site will look like after you do that.
Sometimes it’s necessary to click that button a few times before Facebook will update it.
