  I have a website through another platform and would like to transfer it to a HIPAA secure site. Can you confirm that WordPress is HIPAA secure and how does it work to transfer a domain? Does the content automatically transfer as is or does it need to be re-created?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  We are a publishing platform, not a service designed for medical practices to keep and secure sensitive patient information, so we are not HIPAA compliant.

  You’re welcome to run a front-facing site or a blog for your practice here, but please store medical records through a HIPAA-compliant service.
