Transferring a domain
-
I have a domain DiversityMom.com that is registered with GoDaddy and will expire in October of 2015. I lost my blog when GoDaddy dropped Blogcast. I would like to start an account with WordPress using the same domain. To do so, I have already paid the $99 for Premium, so that I can still have DiversityMom.com as the name of my blog, but keep seeing diversitymomdotcom1.wordpress as the name, which I do not want. I have asked for help through the search, but there is no information on transferring a domain from elsewhere to WordPress. I assume that this can happen. Please tell me how. Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I can help you with that.
Log into your site’s Dashboard here:
http://diversitymomdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
To add a domain, simply log into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard, click on Store–>Domains, click “map a domain name you already own”, enter DiversityMom.com in the box and click the “go” button. Then just follow the instructions that appear to register your domain.
Let me know if you have any trouble.

Thank you for your response. I have followed your instructions; however, I am being asked to either pay $13 to map the domain or $99 to “Go Premium.” But I already paid the $99, as indicated in My Upgrades and Billing History.

Ahhhhh,
I see the issue. So WordPress.com Premium was applied to the site diversitymomdotcom1.wordpress.com and not diversitymomdotcom.wordpress.com. I’m not sure how that happened. But I have moved Premium to diversitymomdotcom.wordpress.com.
Can you please give the domain mapping another try?
