Transferring a Domain from Altrue

  I want to transfer my domain to wordpress. How do I transfer my domain name from one provider, altrue to wordpress? so that our when people type our url it brings them to our wordpress site. We are canceling our service with Altrue, and only want to use wordpress.

  WordPress.COM is not set up to accept incoming transfer of a domain name – you will need to keep the registration elsewhere – you can transfer the registration to another Registrar if you want – just not WordPress.COM
