Transferring a domain from one account to another

  I have the authorization code but not the password for the account my website needs to be transferred from. How do I go about the transfer?

  Hi there,

  What is the domain, and what exactly are you trying to do? Transfer a domain registered with WordPress.com from one WordPress.com user to another WordPress.com user? Transfer a domain registered with WordPress.com to another domain provider? Or transfer a domain registered with another domain provider to WordPress.com?

  An auth code is not needed to just transfer ownership of a domain from one WordPress.com account to another, but you do need to be logged in to the account that currently owns the domain to do that:

  The account you’re using to post here doesn’t own any sites or domains on WordPress.com.
