Transferring a domain from wix

  I am trying to transfer a domain from wix and have paid for it for three years. Will that payment be included if I move it to wordpress?

  Hi –

  Your domain registration would not need to be renewed for 4 years if you transferred it now.

  A domain transfer fee will be collected when you purchase the plan. It’s included in that. And it will extend your domain registration for another year with us, giving you 4 years.

  Understand the domain needs to be 60 days old in order to be eligible for transfer to any new registrar. That’s an ICANN regulation across the board, so it’s not unique to us.
