Transferring a domain name from wix to wordpress

    Hi,

    I have just set up a website on wordpress and was looking to connect it to a domain I already own – [redacted]

    The jademartin.com.au domain is currently connected to my old Wix website. I was going to map it and bring it across but I wasn’t sure if that was the right thing to do (and didn’t want to waste $60 doing so).

    If I do map it will that just mean my domain and old wix site will become redundant and this site I have crated here on wordpress will officially be [redacted]

    (I hope this makes sense)
