Transferring a Domain/WordPress

  We have recently asked for the domain uttlesfordadvice.video to be transferred to us. We have also recently asked for the WordPress site https://uttlesfordadvice.wordpress.com/ to be transferred to our ownership and be made manageable through our account, not the original. We are admins on both accounts and would really like this completed but whenever we ask WordPress to transfer this we get the following message – These settings can be changed by the user uttlesford.

  Hi,

  So the issue appears to be that user uttlesford is the owner of the uttlesfordadvice.video domain registration, but not of the https://uttlesfordadvice.wordpress.com/ site itself.

  You will either need to transfer the domain upgrade from uttlesford to your current manageruttlesford account and then also log in as the site owner and transfer the site itself from the owner account to manageruttlesford.

  or…

  Log into the owner account, transfer the site to uttlesford and then log in as uttlesford and transfer the whole bundle of stuff to manageruttlesford.

  Does that make sense?
