Transferring an existing domain name

  I want to import my own domain name, but I cannot find out who my web server is. My ISP is BT, but they won’t tell me the server.
  Is a web server the same as a name server?
  I only registered today, so this is very frustrating.
  Any help would be great, but please keep it simple.

  You can’t transfer a domain name to WordPress.COM – they are not setup to do that you need to have your domain name not registered here – you can map your existing domain name to a blog here – $ 13.– / year
