  Hi! Is it possible to build my WordPress site before I transfer my Domain? Thanks.

  You certainly can get your site set up here before switching your domain over!

  When you sign up for a new site, we give you a free subdomain (*.wordpress.com) that you can use to start building your new site.

  If you are moving an existing site, this guide to migrating your site to WordPress.com may also be helpful:
